There are a wide range of shops , bars and restaurants with good food, serving local specialities and you can listen to highland folk music playing in the street. Nearly 3 million people visit Zakopane
each year.
Make the escape to the highest place in Poland the Rysy mountains 2499m above sea level, only two hours drive from Krakow. Zakopane, set in a valley surrounded by sky high jagged Tatran peaks and alpine meadows. The beauty of the country around Zakopane, the clear mountain streams, the immense forest and, most of all, the landscape of the Tatra mountains are worth making an effort to enjoy. It's Poland's all year round resort with
hikers & skiers, while prices in the Swiss Alps can be higher then the mountains, meals and lodging here can still be had for a reasonable price and, of course, the view is free. Like they say, if it can't be described then it has to be experienced.
We usually arrange pick up time at between 8 - 10 am from your hotel/apartment or pick up point, but we are flexible. The journey will take about two hours though you may want to stop off for coffee or lunch on the way. Our driver is at your disposel all the time. After seeing Zakopane our driver will take you safely back to your Hotel, place or pick up point.
With so many things to see and do in Zakopane you may plan your own day.
